Bart Browne, CISSP

Bart Browne, CISSP, has over 24 years of experience in the IT industry. Bart is currently working as a Senior Solutions Architect at ITC Federal since May 2023. Prior to that, they were employed at T-Rex Solutions, LLC for almost 9 years, where they held the position of Solutions Architect Director from October 2014 to May 2023.

Before joining T-Rex Solutions, LLC, Browne worked at Lockheed Martin for 15 years. During their time at Lockheed Martin, they held various roles, including Chief Engineer from May 2007 to September 2014, and Software Engineer from July 1999 to May 2007. As Chief Engineer, Browne led teams of up to 40 FTE in development, integration, and sustainment on diverse technologies, with a specialization in COTS product integration for enterprise solutions. Bart also has experience in large-scale development in Java, C/C++, and .NET. As a Software Engineer, Browne was responsible for achieving critical milestones such as porting C++ code to modernized compilers and migrating from Visual Basic 6.0 to .NET 3.

Bart Browne, CISSP, holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Technology from The Johns Hopkins University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Gettysburg College between 1995 and 1999. Additionally, Bart has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including being certified as an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner by IBM in April 2021, a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist by Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2020, a Certified SAFe Practitioner by Scaled Agile, Inc. in June 2015, a Certified SCRUM Master by Scrum Alliance in May 2015, and holding the CISSP certification from (ISC)². Bart also pursued an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) certification and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, though it is unclear whether they obtained them or not.
