Guru Murthy

Guru Murthy has extensive experience in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology, currently serving as Principal Scientist at ITC Limited since March 2007, with a progression from Research Scientist to Senior Lead Scientist. Prior to this role, Guru held the position of Head of the Department at Gangagen Biotechnologies Pvt Ltd from January 2004 to February 2007, and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory from February 2001 to December 2003. The academic journey includes earning a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Mumbai (1995-2000), an M.Sc. in Crop Physiology from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore (1991-1994), and a B.Sc. in Farm Forestry from the same institution (1987-1991).
