Jean-Pierre Guittard has worked in a variety of positions since 1979. Jean-Pierre began their career as a Research Assistant at the UC San Diego Department Hematology / Oncology, where they assisted principal researchers in the investigation of factors modulating growth of leukemia cells. In 1985, they became an Attorney at Gray, Cary, Ames & Frye, where they specialized in business / real estate transactions and immigration law. In 1990, they became Co-Owner at Converse International School of Languages. In 2017, they founded and became CEO of iTeach.world, an easy-to-use and complete online teaching solution for passionate language teachers and coaches.

Jean-Pierre Guittard completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology at UC San Diego from 1974 to 1979. Jean-Pierre then received a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (now UC Law San Francisco). Additionally, they have also completed language training.
