Christoph Heckmann

Christoph Heckmann is a seasoned Systems Engineer specializing in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) with extensive experience in projects up to ASIL D. Currently serving as Teamleiter and MBSE System Engineer at itemis AG since January 2022, Christoph has expertise in tools such as Doors, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, and methodologies including ISO26262, UML, and SysML. Previous positions include Teamleiter Software-Engineering at EA Elektro-Automatik, System Engineer and project lead at Rheinmetall Automotive AG, Field Application Engineer at Infineon Technologies, and Software Engineer at Renesas Electronics Corporation, where contributions spanned embedded systems and AUTOSAR MCAL development. Christoph holds a Master of Computer Applications in Applied Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Informatics from TU Dortmund University.
