ITEN - Solid-state micro-batteries
ITEN develop, manufacture and sell micro-batteries which combine the advantages of both batteries and supercapacitors: - High energy density storage; - Miniaturized SMD components and slim form factor. - Quickly rechargeable (80% in < 7 mn) at a constant voltage ; - Broad operating temperature range -20°C +70°C and soon -40°C +85°C - long lifespan (10-20 years); - High peak power (a 500µA.h micro-battery can deliver peak currents up to 70mA - Micro-batteries in the form of SMD components compatible with pick & place and solder reflow assembly techniques; - Solid-state micro-batteries are safe, not flammable (neither Lithium metal, nor organic électrolytes) and are recyclable like any other ROHS SMD component TARGET APPLICATIONS: • BACK UP ( RTC, micro-controllers, DRAM, SSD) • TRANSIENT ENERGY STORAGE FOR POWER ASSIST • SMART-CARDS, TOKENS AND RFID TAGS . ASSET TRACKING & MONITORING . SENSOR DATA LOGGING . BEACONS and TAGS .SELF-POWERED AND WIRELESS SENSOR NODES. • WATCHES . e-TEXTILE and WEARABLES . AUTOMOTIVE (CAR KEYLESS ENTRY, TPMS) • IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICES OR MINIMALLY INVASIVE SOLUTIONS
