Erica Houthuys

Erica Houthuys is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Global Program Head for EOS-984 at iTeos Therapeutics since December 2015. In this role, Erica is responsible for the vision and strategic development of the EOS-984 clinical program, leading a diverse cross-functional team and managing program budgets while ensuring timely delivery of milestones. Earlier positions at iTeos include Project Lead for EOS-984 and Head of Preclinical Immunology, where Erica oversaw various key projects and contributed to significant advancements in immuno-oncology. Prior to iTeos, Erica held a post-doctoral researcher role at Ghent University - VIB and served as a Staff Scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology. Erica's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree from Ghent University, along with a strong focus on biotechnology and biomedical sciences.
