Nicolás García Fernández

Nicolás García Fernández has extensive work experience in the field of business application management and digital transformation. From March 2020 to September 2021, they held the role of Digital Transformation Manager & Product Owner at Itequia. In this position, they were responsible for managing business applications and leading digital transformation initiatives. Since September 2021, they have been serving as the Business Application Manager at Itequia.

Prior to their role at Itequia, Nicolás worked at Logisfashion, sa from May 2014 to February 2020. During their time there, they held the position of Project Manager, where they were involved in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company's management systems. Nicolás also played a key role in integrating business management, operations management, and supply chain management into these systems. The systems they implemented included ERP, WMS, CRM, and BI.

Nicolás García Fernández has a diverse education history. In 2012, they completed a crash course on entrepreneurship at EADA Business School, focusing on the creation of start-ups. Nicolás also obtained a degree in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2005 and 2012, specializing in Roads, Canals, and Ports.

In terms of additional certifications, Nicolás has obtained several from Microsoft. In 2022, they became a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate and a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate. In 2021, they achieved the Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM) and the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals certifications.

Further, Nicolás holds a Certification of Specialization in Entrepreneurship from CISE | Centro Internacional Santander Emprendimiento, obtained in 2019. Nicolás also has completed courses such as Agile Project Management and Lean Approaches from Telefónica Educación Digital in 2019, Liderando la transformación digital en las organizaciones from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2017, and Development in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript of Multiplatform Web Apps from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2017.

Additionally, Nicolás has earned certifications in various areas, including Finances for Non-Financial Professionals from Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Barcelona in 2017, Mobile App Development from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2017, Basic Course in Digital Marketing from IAB in 2016, and Ecommerce from EOI Escuela de Organización Industrial in 2016.

Lastly, Nicolás acquired the Patrón de Embarcaciones de Recreo a Motor y Vela certification from Generalitat de Catalunya, Departament d'Agricultura, Alimentació i Acció Rural in 2012, which qualifies him to navigate and command recreational motor and sail vessels.
