Cristian Nilsen

Cristian Nilsen has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Cristian currently works at Itera as a Business Designer. Prior to that, they were a Senior UX Designer at Gjensidige from 2019 to 2023. Cristian also worked as a UX Consultant at Knowit from 2013 to 2019. Before that, they were a Senior Consultant at Umoe Consulting, where they were responsible for user research, workshop facilitating, and wireframing, from 2011 to 2013. Cristian also worked as an IT Consultant at Norgas Carriers AS from 2006 to 2011, where they were involved in the design and development of company intranets and business intelligence systems. Cristian had a brief stint as an Incident Manager at Tieto in 2006. Prior to that, Cristian worked as a Freelance Web Developer from 2001 to 2006, where they developed CMS and websites for various clients. Cristian also gained experience as a Webmaster at Trolltech from 2005 to 2006, where they handled website updates, development, and maintenance. Cristian's earliest work experience was as a Sales Consultant at Hafslund Sikkerhet from 2003 to 2005, where they focused on retaining customers and created a registration system for extracting statistics. Cristian also worked as a Sales Consultant at Mindpearl for a brief period in 2002. Overall, Cristian Nilsen has a strong background in UX design, consulting, web development, and sales.

Cristian Nilsen has an extensive education history in various fields. In 1991, they completed their high school education specializing in Social studies (Civics) at Foss Videregående Skole. Cristian furthered their education at Oslo Handelsgymnasium from 1994 to 1995, studying Marketing, Economics, English, Spanish, IATA, Tourism, and Management. From 1997 to 1998, Cristian pursued a Diploma in specialized business studies with a focus on Marketing, Economics, and Management at Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College. Additionally, they attended Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College from 1999 to 2001, where they earned a Diploma in Advanced Computer Studies, specializing in Information Technology.

Throughout their career, Cristian Nilsen has also obtained additional certifications. In January 2021, they received a certification in Business Modelling from Innovation Norway. Furthermore, in March 2017, they acquired a Design Thinking certification from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF). Additionally, they hold an unspecified certification in MCTS: Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
