Oleksiy Borodenko has over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on financial services. Their most recent position was as a Technical Lead at Itera - MAKE A DIFFERENCE, where they worked on a project with ASP.NET Web API, .NET Core, Oracle, PetaPoco, RabbitMQ/NServiceBus, Docker, and xUnit. Prior to that, they were a Technical Lead at N-iX, where they worked on projects involving ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, IdentityServer, and MS SQL Server. Oleksiy Borodenko started their education at the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' in 2002. Oleksiy pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics and completed it in 2008. Later, in 2008-2009, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university.

In terms of certifications, Oleksiy obtained several certifications from Microsoft and MongoDB. In 2014, they achieved the MCSD: Web Applications certification from Microsoft. The following year, in 2015, they earned the MCSA: SQL Server 2012 certification. In 2016, they obtained the M101N: MongoDB for .NET Developers certification from MongoDB. Lastly, in 2020, they completed two certifications from Microsoft, namely Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and Exam AZ-203: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure.
