Vishal Kaura

Vishal Kaura has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vishal started their career with various part-time jobs during their studies. Vishal then worked as a Customer Service worker at Lindorff Payment AS and as an Economic Associate at QuestBack AS. Vishal later joined ØkonomiForvaltning AS as an Investment Advisor, where they participated in the establishment of a new wealth management office. Following that, they worked at Norcap AS as a Senior Investment Advisor, providing investment strategies and consultancy to Norwegian investors.

In 2017, Vishal joined Crayon as a Senior Strategic Consultant in the FINOPS domain, responsible for developing and delivering Crayon's Finops services. Vishal also took on the role of Manager - Cloud Economics Services at Crayon, overseeing cloud cost control and optimization on major platforms.

In 2019, Vishal joined Unzip as a Trainer, where they trained individuals in various skills. Most recently, they are set to join Itera as the Head of AI & Analytics in 2023.

Vishal Kaura attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Master's degree in Business & Economics (Siviløkonom) with a focus on Strategy and Finance. Prior to that, they attended Drammen VGS from 1999 to 2002, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.

In addition to their formal education, Vishal Kaura has obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Software Asset Manager from IAITAM in February 2023, the Certified Software Asset Management Professional from BSA | The Software Alliance in November 2022, and the FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in November 2022.

Vishal Kaura also holds the AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in May 2021, the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals from Microsoft obtained in June 2020, and the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in April 2020.

Furthermore, Vishal Kaura has obtained the AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in December 2019 and the Exam 713: Software Asset Management (SAM) - Core from Microsoft in March 2019.
