David Truong

Head of Mobile Engineering at Iterable

David Truong is the current head of Mobile Engineering at Iterable. Prior to this, they were a startup consultant at Causely, Inc. from January 2016 to December 2017. From January 2011 to December 2016, Truong worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Zynga, where they also served as Mobile Release Manager. While at Zynga, they received the Zynga Top Talent Award. Prior to Zynga, Truong interned as a Program Manager at Microsoft from June 2010 to September 2010, during which time they created technical specifications and wireframes for the new community help and support features in Windows 8. Truong has also held positions as an R&D Software Developer Co-op at Lockheed Martin from January 2009 to December 2009, and as a researcher at the University of Washington from January 2008 to December 2011. Additionally, they interned as a Software Test Engineer at Intel Corporation from January 2007 to December 2008. From 2006 to 2007, Truong served as the Regional Membership Director for Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL).

David Truong is currently a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Washington. David has a BS in mathematics from the same school.

David Truong works with Kevin Tham - Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Victor Babenko - Senior Staff Software Engineer, and Jonathan Eng - Staff Machine Learning Engineer. David Truong reports to Bill Press, SVP, Engineering.
