Kamilah Taylor

Kamilah Taylor is the Head of Engineering, Financial Products at Gusto. Kamilah has over seven years of experience in the software engineering industry.

Kamilah started their career at LinkedIn as a Senior Software Engineer. Kamilah worked on various projects, including the LinkedIn Learning app and the flagship LinkedIn iOS app. In 2015, they helped build the next big thing for LinkedIn - Project Voyager, a complete rewrite and redesign of the flagship app.

After leaving LinkedIn, Kamilah became a Cofounder at Swaay, Inc. where they worked on the new LinkedIn Learning app and led infrastructure and flagship app integrations.

Most recently, Kamilah was a Senior iOS Consultant at Krikey, working with startups on their mobile apps.

Kamilah Taylor has a MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from The University of the West Indies, Mona, and took the Arts and Science Magnet Program at North Springs High School. Kamilah also has taken piano lessons at Angela Elliott's Music House, Hawkins Piano Studio, and Angela Elliott's Music House again. Lastly, they have a Sixth Form Certificate from Campion College.
