Kristen Ortega

Kristen Ortega is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in threat detection and incident response, currently serving as Senior Manager of the Detection and Response Team (DART) at Iterable since June 2022. Prior to this role, Kristen held various positions at New Relic, Inc., including Manager of Information Security, where leadership encompassed core security and compliance efforts, as well as infrastructure operations security engineering. Kristen's background includes hands-on expertise in endpoint security, vulnerability management, and cloud security, in addition to a foundational career in technical support and management. Educated at DePaul University with a Master's degree in Network and Information Security and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois Chicago in English/Language Arts Teacher Education, Kristen combines technical expertise with strong communication skills.
