Raquel Breternitz

Raquel Breternitz is an award-winning design leader and strategist with extensive experience across various mediums and domains. They began their career as a Student Designer at the UT Sanger Learning and Career Center and went on to hold positions at companies such as Warren for President, where they served as Design Director, and The New York Times as Lead Product Designer. Raquel has also founded design departments and led strategic initiatives at organizations like Aperture Health and Shopify. Currently, they are a Senior Designer at Iterable, focusing on design systems and craft. Raquel holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from The University of Texas at Austin.
