Jerome Chen-Chan

Jerome Chen-Chan has an extensive work experience in the transportation and traffic analytics industry. Jerome currently serves as the Vice President of Traffic Analytics at Iteris, Inc. since December 2020. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at TrafficCast International, Inc. from 2009 to 2020, including Chief Innovation Officer, Executive Vice President of Engineering/R&D, and VP of Engineering/R&D. Jerome also worked at TrafficCast International as the CTO & VP of Software Engineering from 2006 to 2009. Before that, they were the Chief Engineer at TrafficCast, Inc. from 1999 to 2006. Jerome began their career at TranSmart Technologies, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology from 1997 to 2005.

Jerome Chen-Chan began their education at National Central University from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a Master's degree in GIS and Remote Sensing. Jerome then pursued further studies at the University of Oklahoma from 1991 to 1993, earning another Master's degree, this time in Computer Science. Following this, Jerome enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1994 and continued their studies until 1997. During this period, they were a PhD candidate in Geo-Spatial Information Engineering.
