Tiffany Symes

Tiffany Symes has a diverse work experience. Tiffany started their career as an intern at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. in 2007. Tiffany then worked as a transportation planning intern at Fehr & Peers in 2009. After that, they became a consultant for Berkeley Transportation Systems, Inc., where they led technical analysis projects in the transportation data analytics field. In 2011, they joined Iteris, Inc. as an analytics consultant, specializing in traffic and weather information services. Tiffany was recognized as the Iteris Associate of the Year in 2013 for their exceptional performance and achievements. Continuing their journey, they worked as a research intern at HERE, a Nokia company in 2014 before joining UC Berkeley as a graduate student instructor in Data Mining and Analytics in 2015. During their time at UC Berkeley, they were responsible for developing course curriculum and advising students on machine learning techniques. In 2015, they moved to HERE as a Senior Research Engineer before transitioning into the role of Director of Product at Iteris, Inc. in 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director, Product Management at Iteris, Inc.

Tiffany Symes completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2009. Later on, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Management and Systems at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2013 to 2015.
