Reynald Fléchaux has a diverse work experience in the IT and journalism sectors. Reynald most recently worked as the Chief Editor of CIO at ITFACTO since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Consulting and Research Manager at IDC from April 2020 to January 2023, where they conducted market studies and developed consulting offerings for IT directors. Reynald also worked as a Senior Analyst and completed market research in the IT sector at IDC from March 2018 to April 2020.

Before joining IDC, Fléchaux worked as a self-employed analyst, journalist, and communication consultant from September 2017 to March 2018. During this time, they conducted studies for EBG and IDC, organized conferences, worked as a freelance journalist for ZDnet and L'Informaticien, and created communication materials such as blogs and whitepapers.

From 2013 to 2017, Fléchaux served as the Director of Silicon.fr and ITespresso.fr at NetMedia Europe. Prior to that, they worked as the Editor-in-Chief at Les Cahiers du Numérique from September 2011 to July 2013. Reynald also held the position of Chief Editor - Special Operations at TakePart Média from April 2010 to July 2013, where they launched and managed online participatory and sponsored magazines.

In 2008, Fléchaux co-founded LeMagIT.fr, a media group focused on technological innovation, where they worked until July 2013. Before that, they served as the Editor-in-Chief at Le Monde Informatique (IDG) from September 2004 to November 2007, where they supervised a team of 20 people and defined the editorial topics and guidelines. Reynald previously held the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief at Le Monde Informatique (IDG) from 2001 to 2004 and worked as a Senior Writer from 2001 to 2003.

Fléchaux started their career as the Editor-in-Chief at Netsurf and InfoPC, where they worked from March 1996 to October 2001.

Reynald Fléchaux attended HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur from 1988 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Reynald then continued their education at ESJ - Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme, Lille from 1993 to 1994, studying Journalism. Prior to their journalism studies, Reynald also pursued studies in chemistry and biochemistry at HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur from 1989 to 1993.
