Herbert Plankl

Herbert Plankl holds extensive experience in quality management and regulatory compliance within the healthcare technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of Quality at ITH icoserve technology for healthcare GmbH since September 2007, Herbert oversees the Quality department, acts as the Quality Management representative, and is the Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance. Previous roles include Quality Manager and Safety Officer for medical devices, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Quality Management system per Directive 93/42/EEC, and Technical Project Manager, focusing on the installation and maintenance of medical PACS systems. Herbert also contributed as an External Lecturer at fhg - Zentrum für Gesundheitsberufe from December 2017 to December 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Studies with a focus on Quality and Process Management in Healthcare, along with a degree in Wirtschaft und Management.
