Erica Soto

Erica Soto is an accomplished professional in the field of journalism and communication, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Journalism at Ithaca College since August 2024. Soto has extensive experience as a Freelance Producer/Editor at StoryCorps and previously held the role of Assistant Professor of Communication Arts at St. Thomas Aquinas College from September 2021 to August 2024. Prior positions include Supervising Producer at Complex Networks and the Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College, along with various production roles at Raw Travel, Verizon, REELZ, and Harbor Picture Company. Erica Soto holds a Master of Arts in Social Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Production from the University of Colorado Boulder.
