Lakesha Watson

Lakesha Watson is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Assistant Director for Regional Recruitment at Ithaca College since December 2022. Prior to this role, Lakesha held various positions at Drew University, including Senior Admissions Counselor and Coordinator of Diversity Recruitment, where responsibilities included managing recruitment territory and guiding students and parents through the admissions process. Lakesha's background also encompasses significant leadership experience as a Senior Pastor for the Greater New Jersey United Methodist Church, overseeing multiple congregations and providing counseling and support to community members. Additional experience includes serving as an Admissions Associate and Campus Tour Coordinator at Drew University's Theological School and working as an Assistant to Recruitment and Community Partnerships at the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. Lakesha holds a Master of Divinity from Drew University, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from Northeastern University, and an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
