Tim Downs

Tim Downs is the current Vice President of Finance and Administration & CFO at Ithaca College. Downs has over 25 years of experience in finance and administration. Tim began their career at JP Morgan as an Associate in Finance from 1992-2000. Tim then spent four years as Group Controller at ARAMARK Uniform Services before becoming President at Sanford-Brown Institute from 2004-2007. After a brief stint back at ARAMARK, Downs joined Princeton University in 2007 as Manager of Facilities Budget and Finance. In 2011, they were promoted to Director of Facilities Finance and Administrative Services, a position they held until joining Ithaca College in 2021.

They work with Maryann Taylor - Executive Assistant to the President, Bonnie Prunty - VP, Student Affairs & Campus Life, and M. Quincy Davidson - Interm VP, Philanthropy & Engagement. Their manager is La Jerne Terry Cornish, President.
