Manik Gupta

Manik Gupta has worked in various finance and strategy roles throughout their career. Manik began their work experience at Shell Oil Company as a Financial Asset Analyst in 2007. From there, they joined EY as an Assurance Assistant Manager in 2010 and later became a Manager in Strategy and Transactions in 2015. In 2018, they joined PwC as a Manager Deals, and then moved on to Piper Sandler as an Investment Banking Associate in 2019. Most recently, they have been working at Ithaca Energy, starting as a Corporate Finance Manager in 2021, then becoming Head of Corporate Finance in 2022, and currently serving as an Interim Deputy CFO from 2024.

Manik Gupta completed their education with a focus on accounting and finance. Manik first attended SD Public School from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained their Senior Secondary degree in Commerce. Manik then pursued a BA (Hons.) in Accounting and Finance at Robert Gordon University from 2005 to 2009. Afterward, they further specialized in accounting and finance by earning a Chartered Accountant degree from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Scotland in 2009.
