Matthew Morrison has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Matthew started their career in 2005 at Capgemini, where they worked as an Incident Manager for over six years. In 2011, they transitioned to Petrofac as a Technical Assistant, supporting construction teams on various offshore platforms. Matthew then joined Petrofac's Trainee Construction Engineer program in 2012, where they gained experience in different engineering disciplines. In 2014, they completed a trainee program and progressed into a Developing Construction Engineer role, working on various projects, including the Shetland Gas Plant. From 2016 to 2018, they served as a Construction Coordinator on a Repsol contract. Most recently, they worked at Ithaca Energy as a Control Room Operator and Production Technician.
Matthew Morrison attended Nairn Academy from 1999 to 2004, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study at this institution. Matthew then pursued a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician at Moray College from 2004 to 2005. Later, from 2013 to 2018, Matthew earned a Foundation degree in Engineering from The Open University.
