Sharon Farrow

Sharon Farrow has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit, risk management, and governance in the energy industry. Sharon is currently working as the Head of Internal Audit, Risk, and Insurance at Ithaca Energy since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Enterprise Risk Manager at New European Offshore from March 2021 to May 2023. From September 2016 to July 2020, they worked at Shell as the Upstream and Integrated Gas & New Energies (Renewables) Governance, Risk, and Assurance Manager, where they managed a team of 14 specialists and ensured effective implementation of the Shell Control Framework. Before Shell, they worked at BG Group in various roles, including Governance Manager from November 2013 to September 2016, Consultant Business Risk Auditor from January 2010 to October 2013, and Business Risk Auditor from March 2007 to December 2010. Sharon started their career as a Compliance Auditor at The Linde Group from January 2005 to February 2007, and previously worked as an Accountant at Goodman Jones from September 2001 to December 2004.

Sharon Farrow completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management at the University of East Anglia from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as the Institute of Risk Management Certification (IRMCert) in 2021, FCA from ICAEW in 2015, and ACA from ICAEW.
