Amy Kirchhoff

Amy Kirchhoff has extensive experience in technology management and software development within digital preservation and academic resource delivery platforms. Notably, between 2001 and 2003, Amy served at JSTOR as the Directory of Technology Services, overseeing a team that supported the JSTOR delivery platform. In a subsequent tenure at ITHAKA from 2003 to 2024, Amy held multiple roles, including Sr. Manager for Constellate, where responsibilities included leading the development of a text analysis platform and managing a substantial budget. Additional roles involved significant contributions to the Portico digital preservation service, where Amy implemented strategic initiatives resulting in considerable cost savings and operational improvements. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature from the University of Rochester and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona.
