Patricia Pons Tomás

Patricia Pons Tomás is a researcher at ITI - Instituto Tecnológico de Informática since May 2019, focusing on HCI and the application of Natural User Interfaces, VR/AR/MR, wearables, and mobile technology to enhance mental health and wellbeing. Previous experience includes a mentoring role in the Lidereses project at València Activa, research positions at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) where innovative interactive systems were developed for children and animals, and a speaker engagement at TEDx CiutatVellaDeValencia. Patricia's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a Master's degree in Software Engineering, both from UPV, complemented by research fellowships at the University of Melbourne and various research assistant roles that contributed to advancements in smart environments using emerging technologies.
