Hedwig Maes

Hedwig Maes is the non-executive chairman at Itineris. Hedwig has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management in the telecommunications and technology industries.

Maes started their career in 1983 as a sales manager at Geveke Elektrotechniek. Hedwig then moved to GE in 1986, where they held various positions including product marketing director and senior vice president of enterprise solutions. In 2001, they left GE to join Belgacom as sales director for the business division. Three years later, they joined Mobistar as sales director for corporate solutions.

In 2006, Maes became managing director at M.I.P.S./Clinisys. The following year, they joined Rockwell Automation as vice president of global systems and solutions. Hedwig was responsible for managing 3000 employees globally and delivering turnkey solutions by industry. In September 2017, Maes left Rockwell Automation to become the non-executive chairman at Itineris.

Ms. Maes started their educational career at UFSIA University Antwerpen, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Business Economics. Hedwig then went on to earn their Industrial Electronics degree from IHAM Mechelen. After that, they completed a Leadership Management Course at the General Electric "J.Welch" Leadership centre New York (USA). Finally, they earned their Marketing degree from the Vlerick Business School.
