Jalal Foroozesh

Jalal Foroozesh is a Senior CFD Engineer at ITM Power since September 2022 and has held the position of Associate Editor at the Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering from September 2015 to February 2024. Previously, Jalal served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth from September 2021 to October 2022 and at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS from July 2016 to September 2021, focusing on teaching, research, supervision, and project leading in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. Prior to these roles, Jalal was an Assistant Professor and Researcher at Heriot-Watt University between March 2011 and June 2016, working on mathematical modeling and simulation of subsurface reservoirs. Jalal holds a Ph.D. from Heriot-Watt University, a Master’s Degree in Chemical-Gas Engineering from Shiraz University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering from the Petroleum University of Technology.
