Alan Jenkins

Alan Jenkins has a robust background in journalism, with experience as a Broadcast Journalist at Bauer Media from August 2011 to January 2013, reporting on regional and national news. Jenkins served as a Political Reporter at ITV from October 2016 to April 2019, focusing on the Scottish Parliament and significant political events, including Brexit. As a Scotland Reporter for 5 News, Jenkins covered diverse stories across Scotland in April 2019. Prior to these roles, Jenkins was a Reporter/Video Journalist at STV Group plc and worked as a Researcher at CNN. Jenkins holds an MA from Emory University and a PgDip in Broadcast Journalism with Distinction from the University of the West of Scotland, along with a degree in English and Film Studies from the University of St. Andrews.
