Alexander Perkins

Alexander Perkins is an accomplished professional in safety, security, and operations within high-risk environments, currently serving as the Head of Safety, Security & High-Risk at ITN since January 2024. Previously, Alexander held the position of Operations Manager (Ukraine) for News UK & Dow Jones News, overseeing risk management and logistical support for news teams in Ukraine. Alexander's experience includes project management for the Iraq 2021 elections with UNOPS, and serving as Global Head of Duty of Care & Security at CTG. Additionally, Alexander managed operations in Somalia as Country Manager for IDG, and has a military background as a British Army Officer with the Scots Guards. Alexander holds an MBA from London South Bank University and has a strong foundation in leadership and operational planning across various challenging contexts.
