Sónia Almeida

Sónia Almeida's work experience begins in 1999 as a Cashier at Feira Nova Hipermercados. Sónia later worked as a Surveying Engineer at Multimapa Surveying Services in 2007 and then as a Surveying Engineer at Carregal do Sal City Council from 2008 to 2009. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Assistant at Associação Social Recreativa e Cultural Bem Fazer Vai Avante. In 2010, Sónia became a Scholarship Researcher at SIPCLIP Project at the University of Algarve, where they conducted GIS implementation and management for cave characteristics in the Algarve region. In 2016, they joined Cyient Europe/BT Openreach as a GIS Technician/Data Analyst until 2017. Since 2017, they have worked at Ito World, first as a City Data Analyst, then as a Lead City Data Analyst, and currently as the Data Operations Team Lead.

Sónia Almeida studied Geomatic Engineering at Oporto University - Faculty of Sciences.
