Naaman Campbell

Engineering Team Lead at Itoc

Naaman Campbell has a diverse work experience spanning over twenty years. Starting in 2003, they worked as an IT Support Technician at Post Millennium Technologies, providing Microsoft server and desktop support. Naaman then joined Teys Bros as a Graduate IT Officer, where they provided support in a Solaris-based environment and deployed Ubuntu Linux on SunRay thin-clients.

In 2006, Naaman joined Virgin Blue, first serving as a Systems Administrator and later as a Storage and Facilities Engineer. During this time, they managed Solaris & Linux server systems and championed the virtualization of production servers on VMware.

From 2011 to 2016, Naaman worked at Brisbane Airport Corporation, holding various roles including IT Systems Engineer, Technology & Architecture Manager (Acting), and Server and Storage Systems Architect. Naaman'sresponsibilities included managing the airport's ICT architecture and operations, leading architectural improvements, and delivering major ICT and business projects.

Naaman then worked at agorillaaday consulting as a Principal Consultant and Founder, providing consulting services. Naaman later joined Arq Group as a Systems Engineer - Cloud Services, and then Firstmac as a Senior Systems Engineer.

Most recently, Naaman has been working at Webcentral as a Senior DevOps Engineer and later as a Cloud and DevOps Manager. Naaman is currently an Engineering Team Lead at Itoc, starting in 2023.

Naaman Campbell attended Tully State High School from 1996 to 2000. Naaman then pursued a degree in IT with a focus on Data Communications at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2001 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Naaman obtained several certifications throughout their career. Naaman became a Red Hat Certified Engineer in 2007, VMware Certified Professional in 2010, and achieved certifications in AWS, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in 2017, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate in 2018, and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional in 2020. Naaman also obtained TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group in 2016.
