Mariam Bacchus

Mariam Bacchus, SHRM-CP, is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as a Human Resources Business Partner at ITOCHU International Inc. since August 2019. In this role, Mariam manages various HR functions including talent and leadership development, recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, wellness and engagement initiatives, immigration, diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, as well as the Internship Program. Prior to this, Mariam held positions as a Senior Human Resources Specialist at ITOCHU International Inc. and as an HR Generalist at Barnes & Noble, Inc., where responsibilities included recruitment support, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations. Mariam also has experience as an HR Consultant at Vela Trading Technologies and worked in talent acquisition and human resources coordination in earlier roles. Mariam earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from the Colin Powell School at The City College of New York.
