Dr Zahid Usman

Dr. Zahid Usman (CEng MIMechE F-HEA) is a seasoned professional in digital manufacturing and systems engineering, currently serving as a Sr. Principal Digital Manufacturing/Systems Engineer at ITP Aero since May 2021. With a robust background in leading diverse teams to execute large-scale projects, Dr. Usman previously held the position of Lead Digital Systems Engineer at Rolls-Royce, where major contributions included the largest MES deployment in the company's history. Academic experience includes roles as a Lecturer in Advanced Manufacturing at Coventry University and a Systems Integration Research Associate at Loughborough University, complemented by earlier positions in manufacturing engineering and production management. Dr. Usman holds a PhD in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, along with an MSc and B.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
