Iain Wallace

Iain Wallace is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in controls, instrumentation, and testing within the aerospace and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Controls, Instrumentation & Test at ITP Engines UK Ltd since January 2009, Iain oversees a team of up to 30 engineers, focusing on resource planning, recruitment, training, and maintaining quality standards for safety-critical controls in aircraft FADEC systems and industrial gas turbines. Prior to this role, Iain held positions including Group Head Aerospace Controls at Alstom Aerospace and Principal Controls Engineer at ALSTOM Power, where responsibilities encompassed development and leadership in FADEC systems for turbofan engines. Iain's career began as a Controls Engineer at Alstom Gas Turbines, contributing to core engine controls software. Iain earned a BEng(Hons) in Electronics, Control & Systems Engineering from The University of Sheffield.
