Chad McDonald has been working in the IT field since 2006. Chad began their career at CompuCraft as an Onsite Technician, where they were responsible for diagnosing issues with laptop, desktop, server, and network hardware, as well as implementing new systems and solutions for clients. Chad was a key team member equally skilled in both Mac OS X and Windows technologies. In the same company, they later moved on to the role of Senior Systems Engineer, where they deployed firewalls, servers, and cloud services to CompuCraft's clients, and performed project implementation and project management on larger projects. Chad was also a key resource for Windows server knowledge. Chad then took on the role of Director of Service Operations, where their role was to manage the people and processes involved in how CompuCraft delivers service to its customers, and to create growth plans for employees, train employees, and establish and refine service delivery processes. Finally, Chad moved to ITPartners+ as Chief Technology Officer, Director of Project Success, and vCIO/Project Engineer.
Chad McDonald attended Freedom Baptist High School from 1995 to 2001, and then went on to Grand Valley State University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management (Information Systems) in 2006. In 2021, they obtained a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
