Brent Martin has over 25 years of experience in engineering, primarily with Itron Inc. Having started as a Design Engineer and Supervisor/Technician from 1995 to 2009, Brent advanced to the role of Sr. Design Engineer at Itron from April 2009 to April 2014, where Brent served as the main R&D design engineer for multiple projects, resulting in over 10 million units sold. Brent's expertise lies in analog circuitry and power supply systems. Following this, Brent became the R&D Manager, overseeing the ECAD and Sustaining Product Department for North American Electricity Product Lines, focusing on continuity of supply, value engineering, cost reduction opportunities, and management of engineering software and libraries. Currently, Brent holds the position of Sr. R&D Manager at Itron, Inc. since January 2023. Brent earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from South Carolina State University between 1993 and 1995.
