Rex Arul

Rex Arul is a seasoned professional in the utility and smart grid industry with extensive experience in solutions engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Itron, Inc. since January 2018, Rex specializes in integrating IT-OT ecosystems for utilities, with a focus on advanced metering systems and outage detection. Prior to this role, Rex was a Senior Solutions Architect at Silver Spring Networks and held positions as a Solutions Architect at Duquesne Light Company and a Senior Consultant at Red Clay Consulting. Additional experience includes significant contributions to Toastmasters International, where Rex held various leadership roles, enhancing communication and leadership skills. Rex holds a Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
