Aleksey Parfyonov has diverse work experience in various roles in the field of software engineering and development.
Starting in 2005, Aleksey worked as a hardware engineer at Interpribor, where they gained experience in studying ZigBee technology, programming prototype devices, developing electrical schemes, and working with CPU Atmel AT90x and TI MSP430.
In 2010, Aleksey joined NPO RTS as a C++/C# Developer. In this role, they designed and implemented UI on embedded systems for complex embedded equipment using OOP, C++, patterns, Protobuf, Microchip Harmony, PIC32, and Verilog. Aleksey also developed a version of the UI for Linux embedded platforms.
From 2012 to 2014, Aleksey worked at LANIT-URAL as a Java Developer, where they developed electronic government services, implemented business processes, and contributed to the implementation of an online form generator using ZK framework and FreeMarker.
In 2014, Aleksey joined Rocket Software as a Java Developer, focusing on the development of a JDBC driver for Mainframe Database. Aleksey utilized Java Core, Collections, ByteBuffers, Reflection, Networking, Custom protocol, Cryptography (AES, Kerberos), multithreading, regex, OOP, patterns, and Unit Testing. Aleksey also developed an Eclipse database UI.
In 2017, Aleksey had an internship as a Software Developer at 3DiVi Inc. During this period, they developed a basic hand and face detector for RGB-D image sources, won the 2nd place at a local competition, and gained experience in 3D modeling software Blender and training and validation of convolutional neural networks.
Most recently, Aleksey worked at ITS Partner as a Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer, starting in 2018. In this role, they were responsible for developing, training, optimizing, and evaluating machine learning models. Aleksey also handled data preparation, annotation, and deployment of machine learning components on the backend. Notably, they achieved 80% accuracy in a raw color recognition task.
Aleksey Parfyonov completed their Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering from South Ural State University (SUSU) from 2001 to 2005. During the same period, they also pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Radioelectronic Devices from Southern Urals State University, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Aleksey obtained several certifications, including a specialization in Self-Driving Cars from Coursera in October 2019, a CUDA Programming Masterclass from Udemy in June 2019, a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in March 2019, an Upper-Intermediate level English certification from The English Club Chelyabinsk in October 2015, and an IELTS score of 6 from ielts.ru in July 2017.
