John Waterman is the current Director of Technology Resources at It's Time Texas. John has over 10 years of experience in public relations and communications. John has a proven track record of success in media relations, event planning, and strategic partnerships. John has secured press coverage in local and state publications and media outlets for their clients, including but not limited to Texas Monthly, Austin Monthly, Austin American Statesman, Austin Chronicle, KUT, KGSR, News 8 Austin, KVUE and Austinist.com. In their previous role as Public Affairs Communications Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, John helped develop strategic partnerships by identifying and negotiating relationships to lend project credibility, access and no-cost promotion. John's successes include reaching desired fundraising goals, media saturation and recognition in traditional and new media outlets, selling out events, and heightening recognition and awareness.

John Waterman received a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin, with dual majors in Public Relations and Radio, Television, and Film. John then pursued a career in Front-end Website Development, attending MakerSquare - School of Software Engineering.
