Summer Lee

Summer Lee currently serves as a Board Member for It's Time Texas as of January 2024. Previously, Summer held the position of Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Vital Farms from July 2021 to May 2024, overseeing the development of the company's inclusion strategy. Summer's extensive experience in diversity and inclusion leadership includes roles as Director of Diversity and Belonging at Sense Corp and Director at both Compass and Stevie Lee Properties. With a background as Director of Government at Sense Corp, Summer contributed to launching the firm's public sector business and enhancing diversity initiatives. Earlier career experiences include roles at Dell and AstraZeneca, focusing on sales and promoting opportunities for underrepresented groups. Summer's early work with the Capital City African American Chamber of Commerce involved managing a city contract to promote inclusive tourism in Austin. Summer is an alumna of The University of Texas at Austin.
