Alexander Villagran has extensive work experience in the gaming industry. Alexander started their career at Post Linear Entertainment in 1996 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were the lead programmer on projects such as Final Fantasy 3 and Hasbro's Sorry! Alexander then moved on to Nervenob, Inc. in 1997, where they developed a board game called "Bummer" for Windows 95 and created and modified games for the Super Nintendo.
In 1998, Villagran worked at Z-Axis, Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they engineered game logic for a 3-D Space Invaders game for the Sony Playstation and developed a graphic conversion tool for PC basketball games. Alexander also worked at Kickshaw Entertainment in the same year, designing and programming Java applet games and creating various web pages using HTML 4.0, CGI scripts, and JavaScript.
From 1999 to 2000, Villagran worked at Sega.com, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, where they redesigned and modified the VMU section on the Sega.com website. Alexander then joined Sega of America, Inc. in 1999 as a Senior Software Engineer, creating an interactive website for the flagship product "Sonic Adventure" using Oracle Databases and Perl 5 program modules.
In 2001, Villagran joined Aristocrat Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, programming slot machines for platforms such as Casino Data Systems' "The Bandit" and Aristocrat's Mark 6. Alexander also had the ability to develop the entire slot machine product, including the black box and white box.
In 2002, Villagran moved to Bally Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Director of Software Development. Alexander managed a team of engineers across multiple states and countries and played a key role in the development of the Alpha game core and the EVO2 feature game code.
Villagran joined Aristocrat as the Manager of Engineering Development in 2015, where they led the mPower Las Vegas Development Team and collaborated closely with game development studios and the platform team.
Most recently, Villagran joined Incredible Technologies in 2018, initially working as a Game Programmer before being promoted to Associate Programming Director. Alexander currently serves as the Senior Lead Full-Stack Developer and Project Manager of the iGaming Development Team.

Alexander Villagran attended the University of California, Riverside from 1985 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
