Andrew McBurney

Andrew McBurney is an experienced professional in transit planning with a strong background in civil engineering and city planning. Currently serving as a Senior Service Planner at MARTA since May 2013, Andrew handles customer relations, route performance monitoring, and the creation of maps for major route changes. Previous roles at MARTA include Service Planner III and Service Planner II, emphasizing servitude to patrons and collaboration with individuals with disabilities as a Travel Trainer. Prior experience includes project management and research at PEDS, an internship with the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority focusing on GIS mapping, and research assistant roles at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Andrew holds dual Master's degrees in Civil Engineering and City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Calvin University.
