Duane Pritchett has extensive work experience in the field of law and administration. Duane currently holds the position of Senior Director of Litigation and Administration at MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at the City of Atlanta Law Department as the Deputy Division Chief of the Litigation Practice Group from January 2019 to October 2019. Duane also served as the Chief Assistant County Attorney at Gwinnett County Government from September 2014 to January 2019, where they supervised the Risk Division and handled various legal matters. Before that, they held the position of Chief Assistant County Attorney at DeKalb County Government from April 2006 to September 2014, where they supervised a team of assistant county attorneys and oversaw litigation filed against the county and its employees. Duane also served as the Interim County Attorney from December 2012 to March 2013.
From 1990 to 1993, Duane Pritchett attended The University of Georgia, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
