Rajendra Mekhale

Rajendra Mekhale has a strong background in cyber security and risk management. Rajendra is currently working as a Cyber Security Engineer at itsme Digital ID, where they started in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at Proximus Ada from April 2022 to July 2022.

Rajendra also has experience as the Chair of the CSIRT-SOC Focus Group at the Belgian Cyber Security Coalition from May 2021 to July 2022. Rajendra previously worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at Proximus from August 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Proximus, Rajendra worked at Tech Mahindra as a Senior Security Analyst from August 2018 to August 2020. Rajendra also held a similar role at Tech Mahindra from December 2016 to August 2018.

Earlier in their career, Rajendra was an Assistant Manager - Cyber Risk at Deloitte from May 2016 to November 2016. Rajendra began their career as a Security Analyst at Xento Systems Pvt. Ltd in October 2012 and worked there until April 2016. Rajendra'sresponsibilities at Xento Systems included performing audits and compliance checks, investigating security incidents, and assessing web applications for vulnerabilities.

Rajendra Mekhale completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Programming, Specific Applications from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) degree in Computer Engineering from Solapur University from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Rajendra Mekhale has also obtained several certifications. These include the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from PRINCE2 - ATHEM - A empresa nacional mais especializada em AXELOS in October 2022, the GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) certification from GIAC Certifications in September 2022, the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in August 2021, and the CEH v8 (Certified Ethical Hacker) certification from EC-Council in May 2015.
