Mike Finkelson

Mike Finkelson has held various software engineering roles since 2009. From 2009-2013, they were a Software Engineer and DBA DB2 at the Israel Defense Forces, where they were responsible for application infrastructure DBA DB2, optimizations consultant for legacy systems, and leading major pre-upgrade DB2 v10 operations. Mike was then promoted to Software Engineer Team Lead at the Israel Defense Forces from 2013-2016, where they were in charge of two main infrastructure teams and giving support for large variety of clients and domains. In 2016, they joined CyberArk as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Privileged Access Security and oversaw capturing and analyzing mechanisms as well as real-time data analytics. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at ITsMine since 2020, where they have been developing a high throughput, real-time data protection SaaS platform from scratch based on a 4-year monolith application. Mike has also been responsible for architecting the whole solution from top to bottom and watching it go live, supporting more than 40 clients with more than tens of millions a day of activity packets, as well as solving Performance issues in a complex SaaS environment.

Mike Finkelson obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tel Aviv University - Coller School of Management in 2020, with a field of study in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Mike also completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo in 2016, with a field of study in Computer Science, Specialized in Management and Economy. Additionally, they completed an Advanced Programmers Course with the Israel Defense Force between 2009 and 2016. Mike also obtained two certifications, Managing Your Personal Finances from LinkedIn in September 2020 and Software Architecture Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2020.
