Kitt Plinia Nielsen

Kitt Plinia Nielsen, PhD, is a Strategic Project Manager at IT-Universitetet i København since January 2020 and the Founder of Socrathena, active from 2017 to present. Additionally, Kitt serves as a Member of the Danish Peace and Stabilization Response under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark since October 2014. Kitt's academic background includes a PhD in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, where engagement in political risk assessments occurred from March 2016 to January 2020. Previous positions include a Student Assistant at the Centre for Advanced Security Theory, an Interning Assistant at Hessische Stiftung Friedens- und Konfliktforschung, and an intern at the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces and the European Parliament. Educational qualifications also encompass a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Peace and Security Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in International Business.
