George Tipping is a Senior Data Scientist at ITV, having joined the centralized Data Science team in September 2022, where a wide range of projects across Marketing and Contain domains have been undertaken. Previously, George was a Data Scientist at TalkTalk from September 2021 to September 2022, assisting business leaders with data-driven decision-making. Prior experience includes working as a Data Scientist at Virgin Media from September 2019 to September 2021, focusing on Marketing and later transitioning to digital initiatives, and serving as a Graduate Analyst in Business Intelligence and Data Science at Virgin Media Business from September 2018 to September 2019. Initial experience was gained as an Analyst Intern at Virgin Media from July 2016 to July 2017 during a mathematics and statistics degree, and prior to this, George worked as a referee in the Bolton Bury and District Football League from July 2008 to July 2015. George holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics with Statistics from Loughborough University, completed between 2014 and 2018.
