Sanjeevan Bala

Sanjeevan Bala serves as the Group Chief Data & AI Officer at ITV, leading digital data and AI transformation strategies for the UK's largest commercial broadcaster. With experience spanning multiple leadership roles, Bala has held non-executive directorships at SThree and Bakkavor, focusing on key areas such as audit, risk, and ESG. Additionally, Bala contributes to academia as a guest lecturer in applied AI at INSEAD and co-chairs the Chief Data & AI Officer Board at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Previous positions at Channel 4 involved elevating data science capabilities for audience engagement and internal efficiencies. Bala has an extensive educational background with multiple advanced strategy and management certifications from INSEAD, alongside a BSc in Management & Computing from King's College London.
