Ahmed Abdelkarim

Ahmed Abdelkarim has a diverse work experience in software development, primarily focused on mobile applications. Ahmed started their career as a Software Developer at Integrated Technology Group (ITG) in 2014, where they developed Windows 8/8.1 applications and built educational applications.

In 2014, Ahmed joined Softec International as a Software Developer, where they continued to develop Windows applications using XAML & C#. Ahmed also built public safety and tracking applications during their time there. Ahmed was eventually promoted to the role of Associate Software Developer, where they continued their work on Windows 8.1, UWP, and WPF applications, focusing on building high-quality public safety and tracking applications.

In 2016, Ahmed became a Senior Software Developer at Softec International, further enhancing their skills and knowledge in developing Windows 8.1, UWP, and WPF applications. Ahmed actively participated in project business analysis and application design.

In 2017, Ahmed joined ITWorx as a Senior Software Engineer, working primarily on mobile application development. Ahmed developed iOS applications for iPhone and iPad using Swift and applied unit testing, DevOps CI/CD, and design guidelines. Ahmed also expanded their development expertise to Unity mobile applications using C#.

Ahmed's career progressed at ITWorx, where they were subsequently promoted to the role of Lead Software Engineer (Mobile). Their responsibilities included assuring high-quality bug-free products with suitable architecture. Ahmed continued to develop iOS applications using Swift and applied Scrum, UnitTest, DevOps CI/CD, and design guidelines.

Ahmed Abdelkarim obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Assiut University, which they attended from 2009 to 2013.

Ahmed has also acquired several additional certifications over the years. In 2011, they received a Java Computer Consultant Center Certificate from Assiut University. In 2013, they obtained an EDUEgypt Program iOS Certificate from PiTechnologies, as well as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.

In 2016, Ahmed received two certifications: Berlitz Level 3 from Berlitz Egypt and Human Resources Fundamentals from CORE Management Consulting. In 2019, they obtained an ISTQB Certified Agile Tester (CTFL-AT) certification from the ISTQB. In 2020, Ahmed achieved a certification in Problem Solving (Intermediate) from HackerRank and completed the Azure DevOps First Look course on LinkedIn.

Most recently, in September 2021, they obtained an ISTQB Certified Mobile Application Testing Specialist (CTFL-MAT) certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.

Additionally, in March 2017, Ahmed achieved an estimated Beginner level of Spanish fluency on Duolingo.
